Existing Lawns
Apply 12.8 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. or 32 lbs. per 2,500 sq. ft. Allow grass clippings to remain on the lawn in order to break down and provide additional nutrients. Use Restrictions – FL, MI: Apply 32 lbs. per 8,000 sq. ft., two times per year. (Less than 0.25 lbs./1,000 sq. ft. phosphate per application and not exceeding 0.5 lbs./1,000 sq. ft. per year).
New Lawns
From Seed: Apply 32 lbs. per 2,500 sq. ft. mixing into the top 1-2″. Following the seed manufacturer’s directions, apply seed. Keep the soil moist until lawn is established. Do not overwater or allow the seed bed to dry out. Following the 3rd mowing, apply an additional 32 lbs. per 2,500 sq. ft.
From Sod: Apply 64 lbs. per 2,500 sq. ft. working into the top 1-2″.
*VA: Apply 32 lbs. per 2,500 sq. ft. Rates not applicable in FL.
Landscaping
Shrubs
Apply 5 lbs. per 100 sq. ft. Evenly scatter and work the product into the soil.
Trees
Apply 5 lbs. per inch of trunk diameter. Apply along dripline at least 1′ from the base of the tree. Pour FloridaGreen into holes 1-2″ wide by 12″ deep evenly spaced 2′ apart.
Newly Planted Trees
Apply 1 1/2 cups per foot of tree height. Mix FloridaGreen with soil in the transplant hole prior to planting tree.
Gardening
Vegetable
Work FloridaGreen into soil. Follow initial application with a second application in 4-6 weeks.
Flower
Work FloridaGreen into soil. Follow initial application with a second application in 4-6 weeks.
