FloridaGreen® contains 86% carbon. The carbon in FloridaGreen helps improve the organic matter, quality and health of the soil in which it is being planted. Keeping carbon in the soil compared to keeping carbon in the atmosphere, reduces carbon being burned in the atmosphere (greenhouse gases). Greenhouse gases are associated with climate change.
Recycling Incinerated Tr(Ash)
Incineration is a method of waste management where companies use high temperatures to convert waste material to ash. The ash that is created in the incineration process can then be used in many different capacities. One way FloridaGreen is using the incinerated ash is construction. We are using the ash as a base (picture on the right) for our new bagging facility.
